FAQS
I’m Here for You
Below are answers to my patients’ frequently asked questions. If there is something I’ve missed, please don’t hesitate to ask. For more information, get in touch. I look forward to meeting you soon.
WHAT EXACTLY IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific areas of the feet to promote balance and relaxation in other parts of the body. It is based on the principle that certain reflex points on these areas correspond to different organs, glands, and systems of the body.

Reflexologists believe that applying pressure to these reflex points can help stimulate energy flow, improve circulation, and restore balance within the body. By working on these reflex points, reflexologists aim to alleviate stress, reduce tension, and enhance overall well-being.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR FIRST SESSION
I understand that coming for a first reflexology appointment can feel a little daunting especially if you have never had reflexology before. When you arrive we spend the first 15 minutes or so discussing how I can help you. We then move into the reflexology at this point you remove your shoes and socks and make yourself comfortable in my specially designed chair. Throughout the treatment you can chat, doze off or listen to music, this is your time and space.
At the end of the treatment, I will spend a few minutes discussing the treatment and my suggestions for follow-up appointments.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE REFELXOLOGY ?
Once a week is the most effective. When you feel consistently happy with how you are feeling you can drop it to fortnightly or even less. (Can you come for a one-off treatment of course although you need to remember that you can't expect to correct a problem with one session.)
