A Note From Me...

 

Confidence has become a word we often associate with being more outgoing, more certain, or more successful. But in my experience, true confidence feels much quieter than that.

It’s the feeling of being able to trust yourself.

To feel calm in your own body. To stop second-guessing yourself constantly. To feel less overwhelmed by the noise of everyday life and more connected to what you actually need.

Through my work in meditation, reflexology and nervous system support, I see how many people are living in a state of tension and pressure for such a long time that they lose touch with themselves completely. Not because they are weak, but because modern life rarely gives us the space to slow down enough to listen.

This retreat was created as a space to gently step away from that.

A chance to rest deeply, move slowly, breathe fully and reconnect with yourself in a more honest and compassionate way.

 

Together, James and I will guide practices that help you feel present, grounded and at ease — not by pushing or fixing yourself, but by creating the conditions where confidence can naturally begin to return.

You'll leave with simple, realistic practices you can continue using at home to help mange stress, move with ease, and feel confidence in daily life.

Why We Created This Retreat Together 

What makes this retreat so special to James and I is that although our work comes from different directions, it shares the same intention — helping people feel more connected to themselves.

James’s work through the Feldenkrais Method and somatic movement focuses on awareness, ease and learning through movement. Rather than pushing the body, his approach encourages people to slow down, pay attention and discover a more comfortable, organised and confident way of moving through life. 

My work through meditation and nervous system support also begins with awareness. Creating space to pause, listen and reconnect with what is happening internally — physically, mentally and emotionally.

Together, these practices complement each other beautifully.

Through movement, stillness, breath and attention, this retreat offers an opportunity to step out of survival mode and into a greater sense of calm, clarity and self-trust. James helps people reconnect with confidence through the body, while I guide practices that support emotional grounding, rest and inner awareness.

Neither of us are interested in quick fixes or forcing transformation. The retreat is about creating the conditions where people can slow down enough to feel themselves again — often discovering more ease, confidence and resilience naturally as a result.
